4 For 2 Bsa Guns 1 For Hw

Recommended Posts

Well , met a new shooting partner on the BSA dating forum on Friday ,so we arranged a date on Saturday night , the wife was very happy I met a new person in my life  .

He turned up dead on time in a nice Range rover , we made our greetings to each other ,then he opened the tail gate and sat there was all his kit and I thought he is the man for me

On a serious note ,Mike lives a couple of miles away from me and yes we did meet on the BSAOG forum , a few pm on the forum and we arranged to go out shooting on Saturday night

Mike turned up , made our greetings , loaded his kit in to the van and of we set to one of my permissions , a salad farm .

We arrived sat in the van talking and looking for a bit , not a lot about ,so we decided to take a wonder around the farm ,

Didn't really see much ,but Mike spotted one and slotted JSB 15.9gr pellet with his very nice Rat Works tuned and shorted barrel through the wired fence straight in to the rabbit , down it went.

I shot another one at 38 yards with the HW100KT .177 but hit it in the jaw , I think the pellet hit a blade of long grass and caused it go of , so there was me running after this rabbit to finish him of and finally put another pellet in the back of the head to finish him of.

We made our way back to the van for a coffee and to get set up with our NV gear ,didn't see a lot but shot another three and the last rabbit we both shot him at the same time , all in all ended up with five , a very enjoyable evening

Nice going mate thats what its all about helping other folk

Yes The One

It was a great offer to take me along and shoot with him on his permissions. I work with people that live by me that shoot alone and have plenty of permissions but hey ho that's human nature I suppose. I'm off out again with Mitch tonight after he has taught me how to set up my chrono and use the chair gun app to enable me to shoot better. Can't thank the guy enough.
