walshie 2,804
I haven't got a cattle question to ask just now, so I thought I'd ask this bird one instead. I haven't seen the bird in question, but I've heard it the last few days. It sounds like a cuckoo clock. It goes "cuckoo....cuckoo...cuckoo." Any idea what it could be? forest of dean redneck 12,023
Lesser spotted tussock Warbler, it likes to hide in dense foliage, and when it calls cuckoo,it hops up n down on the branch with its right wing doing a circular motion by side of its head. Also keep an eye out for the greater jack shrike which calls out gobshite when you go past .
