Birds - Another Townie Question

Recommended Posts

I haven't got a cattle question to ask just now, so I thought I'd ask this bird one instead.

I haven't seen the bird in question, but I've heard it the last few days. It sounds like a cuckoo clock. It goes "cuckoo....cuckoo...cuckoo."

Any idea what it could be?

Lesser spotted tussock Warbler, it likes to hide in dense foliage, and when it calls cuckoo,it hops up n down on the branch with its right wing doing a circular motion by side of its head.

Also keep an eye out for the greater jack shrike which calls out gobshite when you go past .
