Lord Janner Wont Face Charges.

Recommended Posts

Don't know anything about the case really but I would have thought the reason he signed all his wealth over to his family is more likely to be due to inheritance tax. if he lives for over 7 years after signing it over the family will not pay inheritance tax on it. It's not likely to be because of fear of payouts

Don't agree mate , my thoughts are if he has nothing , the chance of anyone suing him for compensation is a non starter .

Like I said, I don't know anything about the case. It's just that the transfer of wealth 7 years prior to death is a fairly common way to avoid inheritance tax

lord janner wont face child sex charges as he now suffers demencia, he wont get a fair trial cause he cant remember but records show he claimed his expenses last yr,wonder how he remembered them lol

This is the same Lord Janner that wanted war criminals prosecuted regardless of there age or condition ...had a change of heart it would seem !!!

I bet he's got plenty of dirt on others that are making decisions.....   Let's hope Scotland do the right thing, something that our pathetic country couldn't do.

Fingers crossed he doesn't last the seven , unless by some strange quirk of fate he's in nick , in which case I hope he lives till a day before he gets out ...

Call me a sceptic, but i think this is more about the SNP putting political pressure on Westminster than getting justice for the victims? if by some miracle they get him in court and he spills the beans its likely to go across all parties and do untold damage, fair bit of leverage for the SNP, just see if it gets dropped and what concessions Scotland get on the QT :hmm:

Disgrace all round, and not the first, Rotherham was timed for the election, non of them are above using these things for nothing but political gain.

It is also in Janners favour that he is the same religion as the people who really run the UK.....he had plenty to say about the Nazi's, but when it comes to allegedly bumming little boys he is suddenly overcome with dementia, despite voting hundreds of times in the House. It's pathetic, and a real shame to the victims that were brave enough to come forward.

Ain't that just the truth!

Imagine what he's seen and been involved in ... No way will the establishment risk that coming out, keep your eye out for his obituary coming soon ... Just like Leon Brittan ...

Surely that must be classed as Tax Avoidance signing his wealth over ? Joe public would not get away with it like. Us and them again !

The exact same rules apply to both public and posh people. It's just the tax law, the 7 years is just in place to stop people at deaths door quickly signing it over. Plenty of normal people do similar

The only thing that stands out to me is that these so called socialists are on one hand in favour of wealth distribution, but on the other not when it comes to themselves.

The same happened with Tony Benn and Adolph Milliband.

Best thing to do is to establish a trust to hold it.

Mr Weasel, I think you give Janner more credit than he deserves, he stands accused (with VERY strong evidence from what I read) of f***ing kids ... Someone who can do this surely wouldn't give a second thought to swerving risking giving compensation to his victims?

He did it, and he's now doing his best to stash his wealth where it can't be touched, as above Stuart Hall did the same thing, despicable b*****ds.

I read the other day that even though it seems there were hundreds at it, the truth is that these enquiries haven't even scratched the surface of the full extent of the abuse that went on.

Certainly not putting the swerving of compensation past him or any of his ilk. Just offering an alternative explanation of why someone older may transfer wealth. As I said before I've not followed the case other than the odd news snapshot so don't have an opinion on guilt or otherwise

Good news but will we be seeing heads rolling for helping him to dodge justice in the first place? I won't be holding my breath...
