Scotland Yard Cover Up

Recommended Posts

I dunno Max.

20, 30, 40 years ago this stuff still happened, it just didn't get into the public eye.

The fact that they're getting reported and victims aren't scared to come forward is progress in my book.

If they would have known about it, yeah, but that couldn't happen then. A lot of these offences would have been committed back then.

You're right though. No one bats an eyelid because we're all desensitized to it.

So where do we go from here?

Chris Jones

What I'm saying is that 40 yrs ago the Country would of been in up roar

Now folk don't bat a eyelid.

No, 40 years ago it would of been brushed under the carpet because it wasn't "decent" to discuss these sort of things, that's the attitude that made these cover-ups possible.

Society as a whole has made a lot of progress with how we think about and deal with sexual abuse in the last 40 years.

I sometimes wonder if those at the top are waiting for those involved to die of old age. I believe they are scared that the country will really turn on them, especial seeing they are already at an all time low when it comes to public opinion.

Watching the Savile programme last week, his nephew as a boy ran off to London, there he was befriended by some blokes aged around 30. They took him to a house to stay at for a while, there it turned out all this vile stuff was going on. At one get together his 'Uncle Jimmy' was there providing children for some famous establishment people, apparently some were household names. Savile just gave a nod to his nephew and carried on without a care!

I saw on the programme Savile had a hero's funeral in Leeds, should have been stuck in a bin liner and bulldozed into a landfill site.

Such a terrible shame he was never brought before the courts and imprisoned.

Kind of makes you wonder about the Dunblane conspiracies.

I wouldn't rule anything out.

The rumour surrounding this shit could be the only time we ever see conspiracy theories turned into fact.

Last year I got talking to a man that was a high ranking civil servant at the MOD, anyway he lives in Pimlico Dolphin square so we get chatting and I asked him what he thought about the MI6 man that they found dead in a suitcase and the police tried to say it was suicide . He just laughed and said its a cover up , he said that where he lives is in dolphin square is a strange place as they're a lot of top government officials and so on living there. He told me years back that a Scottish tory MP was found dead in he's flat and when the autopsy came back it said he had died of alcohol poising , which he said was strange as he's parents and he's friends had never seen him take a drink as he was teetotal . Anyway as he left he said you know who else lived in dolphin square years ago ? I said " nope who " he said Jimmy Saville ! I was gob smacked and know I read this a year later about the place makes you think.

Its never been any different, people didn't suddenly start abusing kids recently, its gone on down the ages, a quick watch of "sex and the Empire" says it all. The real difference now is freedom of information, the internet has changed everything now, before that the people who are in control could sensor everything, TV, newspapers, books, and they still can, like tony blair slapping a "D" notice on the Dunblane fiasco, but they can't control the internet despite trying. I think this lot is just the start tbh, i wouldn't take any bets on where it will end? But they wont get all involved, some people are just to high up.....never going to happen.

Have you heard any names in particular that have been cropping up online in connection with this crime.

I truly think that Saville was a key player and was connected to the very top. The man could do as he pleased, because he had so much info. Prime ministers, cabinet, bbc, heirs to the throne, old bill, masons. He'd been in it since the 50's

He gives a lot away in interviews (with hindsight) whether radio or tv, hiding in plain sight or just felt so protected? I think both.
