Eat less + work out more = weight loss   Been saying it for years. Apparently I'm lacking in empathy and compassion, and its never a fat person's fault that they are fat...

There seems to be a point where your body weight obviously helps you ... The roll of the shoulder that transfers the weight is an obvious game winner ... Watching that it seems like the first few inches are arm wrestling after that it's leaning your body weight in ........

Stance plays a big factor but the roll of the shoulder you describe would only apply to a top roller......a top roller is trying to tear through your hand and wrist some people describe the motion as pouring a jug of water into your shirt pocket the further you can drag your opponents arm away from his body the weaker he becomes so the natural way of defending a top roll is to hook into it but its whether you can overcome the hand strength to do that.......its like anything if your really into something you appreciate watching it done well.....to most people though its probably boring :D

bloody hell gnash , just thought it was about brute strength lol, you learn something every day mate .lol

Intresting thread this, I have been on my version of the warrior diet for two years now and have lost three stone on it. I have crumbled a few times on it, but mostly stuck to it. I find that I have more energy and feel a lot healthier in a fasted state. Am middle aged and no spring chicken, I found it very hard the first few weeks but stuck to it and your body adjusts to it quite easliy. I only eat between 4 and 8pm, in the day I only drink water and maybe have the one brew when I come home from work. On the downside I still like a takeaway and a drink at the weekends, however I do a few weight sessions a week coupled with three 3mile runs a week. I now find that I dont put any weight on at all. I know this diet wouldn't suit everyone but it has me. I didnt read ori, s book, I just got a bit of info off the net and just my own version of it. On top of the diet the only supplements I take are cod liver oil, glucosamine, flaxseed oil and vitamin d3. Whether or not I shall stay on, am not sure. I have gave up for a week or so when been on holidy, but upon return got straight back on it. cheers atb
