That paragraph just about sums up the stupidity if your average dog owner in the UK. I would bet my mortgage on all of the owners questioned having dogs who would benefit from more exercise. The more I hear of ordinary people the more I believe that most of them have no idea of how to keep a dog, or really understand what a dog is. A dog is not a furry little person or a baby substitute.
