RossM 7,979
Not gonnae lie, I've taken fast cars on road tests before, if it's capable your gonna give it a go eh? I got an R32 down to averaging 6mpg and an abarth 500 down to 9mpg punter doesn't need a camera to work it out, don't let the owner fool you, any customer that takes a fast car into a garage, deep down knows the drill. Rake aboot 4,929
That's nothing new at all. I know a place (Ford garage Edinburgh) Guy took a 3 month old RS cosworth escort in, and got a written off wreck with no back wheels in return.
Pink or stink 162
makes you wonder what these guys do at garages . i would of been goin mad if that was mine . hope he gets a ban. I had a roadhawk fitted on my Cliosport a few years ago. Renault dealer did a service on it (£230) and when I viewed the footage it had been up on a ramp for 15 minutes and the oil wasn't changed. I took the footage in to them on the Saturday morning to show them and all the manager could say was "how dare you secretly film my mechanics" Renault UK bent over backwards to sort it when I threatened to publish the footage. Renault dealer didn't give a toss.
PaulJC 14
Had similar happen to me a few years back, Subaru Impreza Sti, Tracker clocked it on the A40 at 131mph while being driven by the guy from the garage delivering it back to me... I called them straight away, they didn't believe me, so i emailed them proof, it then took a further 3 hours for the car to get to me from less than an hour away, it was very close to being reported stolen...
