thanks again to mattybugeye for sorting my gun out.it was very twangy when i dropped it off but now smooth as silk.thanks for persevering with it matty i know it wasn,t as straight forward as we thought but you got there in the end mate like i knew you would.much appreciated matty thanks mate

Against the grain but a 98. The two above no nothing when it comes to tuning ;)

 

Ask them why they say a 80? (I actually agree) but the thing is with an 80 is that no one knows why it's the best for tuning, but everyone says it. The build is the same as any other HW break barrel, within reason. Strip a 80, 99, 98 or whatever and there're all the bloody same.

 

Go on... Ask them :)

thanks for the replys lads i don,t understand the technical stuff but get the jist of what your saying. i have a fac rated pre charged rifle at the moment but would like a tuned springer for places that i can,t use the fac and really just for a bit of fun! cheers plum !

I've just had my 98+99 done by tinbum, he found the 98 was a bit of a challenge as it went 16ft/lbs with original spring with his drop in kit, he said it was lovely and smooth and no twang but very hot.

60 yard rabbits I wonder...
