MickyB 327
If both dogs got few runs each and you can handle them both in the field what's the problem? there young its not really their first season yet its just experience, and they don't look like the type of dogs to lose confidence from a few misses, atb Gaf they a nice looking pair I'd like to see em in a few years time 2 Quote Link to post
snappeer 464
it was just lack of experience from the pups thats all pace wise they have more than enough that was the 1st time ever they saw a rabbit running about as i said was just unlucky not to connect my pup caught its first rab at 4 half month old infact it caught 2 that day Quote Link to post

Tiercel 6,986
If every dog that missed their first rabbits lost their confidence, there would not be many dogs catching rabbits. I used to do things differently, but that does not make me right and Gaffer wrong and vice virsa. If you have a tried and tested method of entering dogs, then stick with it. that is not to say that you cannot add to or subtract from pieces of it at a later date. TC 6 Quote Link to post
