The one 8,582
When we where out yesterday we saw signs somebody had been poaching a wee strip of wood , christ knows why if they had of asked i would have given them a day out . First sign was all round a tree stump there where at least a dozen holes sunk down two three foot maybe they didnt own a locator ? as there where more burrows like that Every burrow they had done had a amount of straw there , the bedding contains of the ferret box ? one burrow i even picked up a nice white 3,6 net with checkered draw cord but the draw cords no long enough to let the net open fully , how the hell do you miss a bright white net ? even after all there effort we still got 6 rabbits out there Im getting quite a collection of nets it must cost these guys a fortune in nets every year Edited December 28, 2014 by The one Quote Link to post
Giro 2,648
I walk a little stretch of land with a public footpath on it.. Often find purse nets to be honest some are that shit i just leave them Quote Link to post
pie-eater 377
Out of all the purse nets Ive ever found only one was usable, it was a 3.5ft shaped spun poly net which I still have. All the others have been 4z nylon or rotten hemp. Quote Link to post

I'd always rather 'nip on, nip off. Ain't it wierd never been given permo by asking, only gained when offered but thats the way i'm built, maybe the bloke that was on your gaff was like me... pigeonphill 69
its only poaching if you get caught , and like bosun11 says im 48 and still cant help seeing whats on the other side of the fence from time to time and as phill also says if I have permission , ITS GET OF MY LAND . but if its born wild it only belongs to the person who can catch it, HAPPY HUNTING 2 Quote Link to post
