gnasher16 31,284
Its got to be the most overhyped contest i can remember for a long time its bordering on cringeworthy i spoke to a yank friend of mine a few days ago about upcoming fights he says " Cleverley/Bellew never heard of them ".........how Sky have got the front to charge 17 quid pay per view for a non title domestic fight is disgusting......ive seen Mayweather or Paquiao bouts get far less build up coverage than this and they are worldwide superstars of the sport !.......no wonder we,re so desperate these days to " create " these so called grudge matches. AKA-BRINDLE 879
Is that when klitchko, haye, fury have retired Haye is retired and has been fir some time. As for klitchko, Joshua has been sparring with him and helped Klitchko prepare for hes last title defence. Fury! Pmsl Haye has said he's coming out of retirement...should be back in the mix soon...lets hope the lay off has given him a bit of perspective and hunger...too much money too soon some of these Heavyweights...always felt Haye didnt fulfill his potential...Sam Sexton spars with Klitchko regular...i wouldnt read too much into it

Everyone has opinions and some are alot different to others. but I see what you mean about haye, but not necessarily agree.
robin hood 109
At least the British heavyweight scene is looking better since the arrival of Joshua, some good fights to be made,im still with Haye,as number 1 then fury, chisora,Joshua, price
Tiny 7 1,694
I can see what your saying brookie. No need to get out of your pram Brookie...i wont be flying off no handle...and i dont claim to be any sort of 'expert'...just enjoy boxing...its just my opinion that Haye hasnt fulfilled his potential...i have said the same about Tyson Fury...if he comes to the ring fit and focused...seen a young Tyson Fury fight down here when he was first starting out,,,saw his younger bro's pro debut the other month...hope Tyson stops Chisora in good order next weekend and gets his shot at the title...but if you claiming the Haye v Chisora fight was a fix i disagree...i also think Haye would have the beating of Fury(just my opinion)...and seriously hope the fight comes off at some point...but one thing i will say is...Furys had 22 pro fights and has seriously fought no one...by 22 Haye had fought for titles at 2 differnt weights!...just my opinion...if thats ok with you Edited November 21, 2014 by AKA-BRINDLE
gnasher16 31,284
Theres far too much talking by a lot of heavyweights these days and probably fighters in general.....after all said and done you make judgement on a fighter by what you see not what you hear......look at David Hayes fights, his power, ability etc......and his weaknesses..............then do the same with Fury/Chisora/Price and make judgement on what you see........when you do that its not difficult in my opinion to see that Joshua is by far the best prospect of any British heavyweight probably since Lennox......but until we see him extended he will remain simply a prospect......its very rare for fighters who have sparred to say anything bad of each other thats just gym etiquette so as someone already said you cant read too much into what Klitchko said.....the problem with all the talk and hype around fighters today is it creates pressure to move a prospect like Joshua along quicker than he needs to go unfortunately in todays times a few losses force a fighter into desperate measures taking tougher than necessary fights to get back on track as they feel they have nowhere to go after a few losses ....where if they wasnt desperate to keep unbeaten records from the start their careers would take a more natural path it can be a 20 year career at heavyweight these days whats the rush.
