haymin 2,465
How much do you guys pay for getting it emptied , and does anybody put anything in it for it to work better ?thanks Jim
Mr Wasp 220
Whats the problem? No point putting a dead animal in thinking it will start the bacteria working. The type of bacteria that breaks down shite is either arobic or anarobic. Arobic breathes oxygen, anarobic doesnt. Both will break shite down, but anarobic will produce slime which clogs up your land drains. The trouble with septic tanks is they use anarobic bacteria. A better solution is a sewage treatment plant wich has a biomass bale suspended above the water. You can buy bacteria packs to get things going, but if you put to much bleach or other cleaning fluids down your drains you will kill any bacteria in the tank and it will stop working properly.
