darrendigger 19
i like a 1/4 bull 3/4 greyhound, quicker but you still get the prey drive i run this such cross they are fantastic strong, fast, obedient, prey drive, full package imo i would not take gold for him atb Quote Link to post
blackmaggie 3,377
i prefer a 5/8 3/8 or a racy half cross just my take on it owned a 3.4 direct out of pye the pick of litter and bought direct of pyes owner and seen other 3/4s imo not up to what the above can do 2 Quote Link to post
jeemes 5,162
half cross is best i think if you select the right ones. The more bull the cleverer the dog. day or night at any task except hare coursing. I used to keep 3/4 types but too much grey means too many injuries. Quote Link to post

What I have seen in ones I owned 3/4 got no wind A good half x is the best for when the going gets tough 3/8...5/8 is best for allround work out of the 3 bull xs , 3/8...5/8 with coursing blood instead of G Hound hard to beat as allrounder in the lurcher world These are just my veiws ,which are like assholes we all have them Edited September 15, 2014 by DEERMAN 4 Quote Link to post
