Farmer Takes Revenge On Gypsies

Recommended Posts

one farmer that doesnt f**k around

A furious farmer got his own back on a group of gypsies by barricading them in with a dozen tractors when they refused to go - and within three hours they had asked him if they could leave.

Chris Awdry, 53, from Wiltshire, took direct action when the travellers - who had arrived with six caravans - told him he would need a court order to move them on.

He turned to police but they said it was a civil matter and refused to get involved.

So Chris called in his staff to drive the tractors around the edge of the 1.5-acre site and block them in as police watched.

And less than three hours after arriving the gypsies came to him and said they had decided it was time to leave his land in Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

Funny you should say that Morton as a site i was on once got muck spreadered by a farmer who didn't own the land we were on(it was a drove way and wide enough for him to pass with his tractors etc)the piglets in with the muck were a tad ott and as it was the hight of summer it was a tad fresh lets say  ,we did move so his plan worked but he didn't sure as shit bank on us using his batteries and derv as all his tanks were full  ,He just hated us and took it upon himself to show us but it got silly when he drove his landy fast down the track and expected the deaf child to hear him coming and get out of the way,the child didn't but he slammed on just in time and got floored by the childs mother  and a cracking punch a man would be proud of it was to

The sad reality of life is,if a camp sets up anywhere in Britain, anywhere, then things often get damaged or stolen, not always as some travelling family,s have more honour than some of their ilk. Thus any camp is tarred by the brush the majority sweep with.

At one point in the dim and distant past we had 26 caravans of travellers in a layby next to us and beside the river. They even had a phone line installed. Zeroing the rifle safely on the river kept them in check mind, although we did have some violence. We too used a small digger to make some new ditches around their encampement.

He didn't mess about job done , when we wanted to move in the summer months we had farmers that we could call and let us stop on their land year in year out . Mind you we left it as we found it and didn't shit in hedges like some lol . On the weekend some farmers would even come out for a pint or two , we'd keep buying the ale just to keep them sweat like good days !
