nothernlite 18,247
Why does it have to be a bitch? If you want the right pup your going have to travelmaybe something to do with breeding Quote Link to post
Coursing mad 24 874
Correct northern lite . I only have terrier bitches in my kennel don't want a dog around when my bitches come in season . I want a bitch because if she made the grade I would eventually like to breed my own pup to carry the line on . The same as what I have done with my borders . Preferably 100 miles but willing to travel any where just would like to by the the right pup from proven workers as all the the KC ones I have seen are build like small whippets and aren't the type I am after . So any info on working litter would be appreciated as as everyone I no as borders or pats . Quote Link to post
Rory4 267
Exactly northernlite Quote Link to post
Rory4 267
Same as most Involved with bedlingtons they always want to breed there own, rather than traveling anywhere to get the best pup they can, they breed from average dogs that have done nothing because it's their dog and earn a few £££ Quote Link to post
Coursing mad 24 874
Get off your high horse mate how can you comment on what other people want to do with there dogs everyone I no with dogs whether running dogs or terriers would rather breed from ther own tested stock than from other peoples say so . If you have nothing constructive to say on the actual question. Asked . Y people find the need to voice the opinion on here rather than reply to what is asked is beyond me . And how do you no that I would breed from a bithch that wasn't tested if it didn't make the grade it wouldn't be in my kennel . As I have done with my borders brought one years ago she was an exceptional worker so I bred from her and kept one back to work who also has made a very good earth dog so y would I go and buy a pup when I can bred one from my own stock . And people like Rory 4 with there opinions on a lap top about people they don't no should get a grip . And keep ther opionions to ther self that don't make sense . It was a simple question looking for a bedlington bitch . Should spend more time in the field than thinking up arguments on here pathetic 4 Quote Link to post

Bosun11 537
I really don't understand the issues here, can't see any problems wanting a bitch, many people prefer bitches in their kennel, as others prefer dogs. No issues with anyone wanting to breed from it in the future either, a long term plan is usually good news, if someone has primarily work in mind, then crack on. If more people realised the value of a good working bitch then the terrier world would have far less shite in it..! Take Astanleys advice and get on the Bedlington forum. Quote Link to post
