Don't you just hate farmers Sometimes there was literally 100 or so in this one field and I asked the farmer if he wanted to get rid of them but just said no how can I change husband mind it would be idle permission for me close to home oh well just keep looking I guess

I have the same thing , the farmer at the end of my road has 100s of rabbit and pigeons on his land but won't let anyone shoot/Hunt .

I offered him money aswel but still NO. ??

Could try getting permission from any nieghbouring farms then once he's seen or heard that ur trust worthy he might let u on good luck with it mate what ever u do

you could remind him if the rabbits get out of hand and overflow onto next doors land his neighbor could get vermin control and charge him for getting rid.

Just a thought, if there were not the odd farms over run with game, that did not allow hunting, there would be nothing to populate the ground when you hit it hard in winter.

As said try for the neighboring farms then after they have finished breeding at the end of the summer you might be in with a chance
