How much were they going to charge you villaman, I have a hw100 here with a slow leak, I might send to HC to get it sorted and powered set correct. Quote Link to post

Been to TAL ARMS to day to find out what went wrong ,he admitted that he forgot to send it off ,I took the gun in on 10th may and he never sent it off until 2nd of June , not good !! Moral of the story is , before blaming any one ,look in to it a bit further . So I must APOLAGISE TO HULL CARTRIDGE its not your fault ,SORRY More than likely Chris will be reading this from HC and I would like to thank him for all of his help Chris has given me , THANK YOU . 1 Quote Link to post
pav 481
if the gun hadn't been leaking in the first place you wudnt have had to send it back so I would be blaming hull my pal having same problem so its not a one off incident about the leaking guns Quote Link to post

villaman 9,982
All guns have problems even rapids. HW100s must be one of the best selling pcp in the last 5 years that's why there is probably so many up for sale Quote Link to post
daffy duck 55
Well I'm not happy with hull !!! I have just received my hw100kt .20 after they have had another go to repair a leak ! They rang me last Monday saying they have replace all seals and tweaked it for me for all the trouble I have had with them and to tell me it's not leaked for the 3 days since they filled it so sent it back to me with a goody bag (ha) I picked the parcel up on Wednesday and checked the preasure which was sitting at 200 bar so was happy until I went to go shooting on Sunday and it had dropped to 190 bar ! Thought I would give them a chance and went out shooting Sunday evening thinking it may be ok after shooting and refilling it on Sunday night back to 200 bar when I got back, I have just check it and it's dropped 5 bar over night so I'm pee'd of to say the least !!! Going to wait till Thursday to see just how far it drops from Sunday till then before I ring them and demand a refund or a replacement as I'm not willing to have it repaired a third time ffs ! Not happy Graeme Quote Link to post
paulk73 151
daffy, a slight drop in pressure is perfectly normal after filling 5-10 bar is fine. while filling the cylinder gets hot and tge compressed air expands, then as it cools it drops in pressure. I once sent 1 of mine to get to get the power tweaked becauae it was running about 10 ft lbs. I took it to my local shop who sent away and they had it 3 months. they said they had a flood and everything had to be moved upstairs. after 2 months I phoned and was quite shitty with them. I demanded to know what was happening and what stage my gun repair was at. the guy on the phone went to look and see, and he could even find my gun. he said they have probably sent it back to the gun shop. phoned the shop they said not heard anything. phoned hull back and told them I would be back to tell them I would be driving to hull and picking a new rifle up on the monday, and charging them for the fuel and my time. he called back later on then said they had found it they said it would be back within the week. but it still took another month. when it came bsck it was fixed but was covered in dust. bigmac 97kt 13,830
iv said it be fore and ill say it again its not h,c if a new rifle leaks its the build quality at the factory and that's the way they have sent it out i love the hw range and there second to none but standards have slipped in the last few years its not as if they are SMK,s or eny other cheep rifle there the leading force in air rifle technology and build some of the best out there But if most of them have problems and are being sent back to h,c then they will have loads to put right i think some one needs to get in touch with some one at the factory and tell them that if things keep going the way they are then there good name will mean nothing and that there rifles will be classed the same as an SMK WELL MAY BE NOT AS SMK<S BUILD QUALITY IS BETTER at the moment atvbmac Quote Link to post
