beast 1,884
good straw is good, flimsy or dusty straw is crap. shredded paper is good, vet bed and carpet are fine but personally i prefer something a dog can scratch and pull about to its own taste, so i tend to get duvets or blankets from the charity shop and throw them away every week or two Quote Link to post
beast 1,884
oh by the way, has anybody ever used wood wool? i remember a chap telling me a few years ago that he liked it, but i've never used it myself Quote Link to post
Mickey Finn 2,767
Straw or Marsh Grass here. By the way, my Lurcher generally sleeps on top of the dog box sort of snoopy style unless it's raining pretty hard. Anyone elses dog do that? ATB Edited May 17, 2014 by Mickey Finn Quote Link to post

alex1987 164
Duvets and blankets for mine in the kennels. They are never put in wet or dirty so the bedding stays dry. I always think would I want to go running around at full speed for hours on end after sleeping on a crap bed! Once saw a comment from a whippet guy saying that his dogs don't need bedding and sleep on wooden boards. Couldn't understand it especially for whippets Quote Link to post
leegreen 2,105
I use shredded wax paper and shredded Jay clothes. Nice and deep in winter. 1 Quote Link to post
