Bosun11 537
Great clip Cleanspade . That collie cur lurcher wasn't for letting go of that lure in the beginning. Though one of those terriers looked more Fox Terrier that anything else and from 1954 it wouldn't have been as bastardised in the head as it is now. Quote Link to post
Moorside 642
Haha great clip cs, those pathe news videos are brilliant! Saw a terrier race go wrong a couple of years ago at a game fayre....neither were muzzled when they got to the lure one latched onto it the black terrier grabbed the other dog and when a bloke tried to separate em the one that had the lure latched onto him.....shouldn't laugh but I certainly did at the time Quote Link to post

Saw a terrier race go wrong a couple of years ago at a game fayre....neither were muzzled when they got to the lure one latched onto it the black terrier grabbed the other dog and when a bloke tried to separate em the one that had the lure latched onto him.....shouldn't laugh but I certainly did at the time we used to run a wee show years ago. the lad picking up the lure had a spot of bother getting a little smooth patt off. so resorted in biting its ear. it let go alright......spun round and grabbed his nose. . .. . at around the same time i had a little sealiam type russell put him in the little trap. at the racing at a gamefair and he came out like a little rocket. the only problem was he left half of his arse in the trap. there was a nail sticking through and he got hooked up . the standby vet stitched him up on the bonnet of his landrover. free of charge. 23 stitches. we used to run dogs through pipes after a fox tail at our local country fair it was great fun. but you could tell the workers a mile of. as they looked at you as if you where daft 2 Quote Link to post
