A nest of 4 Greenfinch chicks that are rather snug in the nest now so it won't be long till there out and about. Lutino Greenfinch hen with 3 chicks under her The chicks. Dad Cinny Greenfinch and lutino Greenfinch mule on the wild food. Cinny Redpolls on the wildfood. Goldie getting in on it as well. Mum of the big chicks lutino Greenfinch hen. This a friut fly culture container i made up out of a old quail drinker,put in old fruit the birds land on the perches and the fly's will fly out ot be eaten,old chickweed on top to stop it getting poo'd on . But I just love looking at the photos, and getting the passion that you feel about the birds. fireman 11,457 Posted April 22, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 22, 2014 I've had 2 go broody but both nests failed and in the pic of the redpolls with cock (dark)quail in it just to the left of him just under that conifer and old millet strand is another 3rd hen sat on eggs there but she's been on and off them so not holding much hope on that one either but with them it is really just for fun type thing and i do have 4 pairs to try with anyway Quote Link to post Share on other sites
