swg dave 334
Lurchers with that lightening burst of speed when needed, its great to see, and im not on about a dog just flat out like a lunatic, but that managed very quick burst that some dogs have that gives them that edge in certain situations, my eldest dog has that feat, and when he uses it for example to cut off a rabbit at an angle and he connects just right, or a daytime mooch and a rabbit jumps up in front of you quite close to the edge and that quick pulse of energy excells the dog to great speed in a very short time to catch the flleeing bunny just before he makes it to the cover of the fence line. Its great when this happens and your not expecting it and the dog connects his quarry just right, it really brightens your day up Cheers.... 1 Quote Link to post

mhopton 807
Every dog has it's own way to hunt it's quarry, the best way to get it to find and use it is to show it how much love and care you have for it and not with your boot or a fucxxng stick like some do , I've left a good few so called big men with a bloody nose for booting there dogs or flogging it with its lead for missing its chase it's not right 1 Quote Link to post
