Well I think I am definately getting soft as I get older but maybe not a bad thing as we all have to mellow at some stage but I have decided lately that if when I go down to feed the dogs I need to pu

My dogs kennels are not the box type but a large indoor run as well as a large outdoor run so essentially its the size of a room which allows the both lurchers to be able to fully stretch out on the b

As I said my sleeping area is large which makes it cold ... A bonus in the heat of the summer but stays real cold in the winter ... Colder than outside sometimes so for me a lamp is a must and at the

You lads use beds..........!!!!!! That's what I've been doing wrong..I thought all good dogs were hard and slept on concreat floor

They will be harder dogs if kept on bare concrete mate. But I like mine inside.

 

It just means they shiver more when we are out.

 

I might put them outside and take the roof off the kennel, then they would be exposed to wind and rain. Bet they would be hard dogs then.

I think i might be in the same boat,i always spoiled the dogs,i think its great for them to be treated well ,heres the pup I bred a few weeks ago and caine,bred from lucas having a ''soft'' time

and joined by his son, and notice both are curled up even though its a lovely spring day :laugh:

That's because there is no room for them both to stretch out ..........

Fair play Gaz the Dogs are in the lap of luxury and Mrs Gaz has done a great job of keeping the house spic and span.

Mine are pretty spoilt, king size duvet in the back of the car and this..

There Is'nt a more relaxed pair of hound around...well apart fron gaz's house.

 

When the Kids grow up the dogs will b moving back in. Even though I do pull one or two of the older girls in from time to time

I'm jealous of your fire place mate.....very nice.............dogs aren't bad either :-)
