moxy 617 Posted February 26, 2014 Report Share Posted February 26, 2014 Visited a little spot I haven't haunted in a while. Well perhaps 10 months. It's only a small permission of acres and in the past we have taken good numbers. One of the good things about this spot is it has an elevated shooting point running through the middle of it, and when the wind is in the right direction it makes for good shooting. As usual I decided for a quick look and didn't take any bags or game carriers and to start the night off on a downer I lost my knife out my pocket whilst taking the first laid down shot. I did find it after I retraced my steps but by this time I had a healthy bag and it was a ballache carrying them back. Especially with no sling on the gun and no way to hock or tie the rabbits together. It was one of those occasions you wish for a bit of trusty old bailing band. Lol. I didn't walk the full permission just enough to take 15 and reccy for the next visit. Quote Link to post
