s horsfield 7
went out this morning for a couple of hrs with the ferrets ,and it turned out to be an all day job. Every burrow either had young un's or a pregnant doe, half the day spent digging, so i think its time to hang the spade up and get the shot gun out and have ago at them pigeons. How's the rest of you lads going, have you got many young un's about? fluff 410
in the lower parts there got young but in the high parts still snow in parts and no young so keep on till end of march ,then leave it for another season ,had several hundred this year , so time to give them a break, its not the numbers its the qaulity of sport and testing your dogs ferrets etc that counts ,and how the game is approached , Edited February 21, 2014 by fluff Quote Link to post
