I think your right really, after all there only animals, and at least a lurcher what ever the x will bring bit back in the house if not money,atleast it could catch its dinner if need be.? if it had been my pet dog prob get rid or give it away to pet home and the info with it . I had ped dogs and know the shit that goes with them, that was 1 of the reasons I went for a lurcher to get a healthy type of dog that could live a NORMAL LIFE NOT DOWN THE VETS EVERY DAY UNLESS WORK INJUREYS

sorry but my jrt nearly died last year with harvest mite and she cost us just under £300 to me I would of spent more that dog hs worked her butt off for me over the years for my enjoyment and sport and if my lurcher was rushed to the vets id do th same for him they arnt just a DOG OR JUST AN ANIMAL to me they are my best mates that do a job to please me and should all be treated with respect atb malc
