Recruit beaters straight out of Plymouth do ya? LOL Nige, very unassuming bloke, like a friend of mine who used to be 43Cdo FPGRM, toured Afghan and Iraq, you'd never put him as a RM to look at him! I read about that (before my time obviously). M squadron used to practice anti terrorism/hostage rescue operations on the QE2 when it was 'off duty' but with the crew on and unaware.
