Blackbriar 8,569
Is there anybody on hear that finds citizen Kahn funny ? i accidentally came across that and watched half an episode the other week - about as funny as kidney stones! ITV3 regularly show On the Buses, George and Mildred, Man About the House, Duty Free and suchlike and I have to confess that I sometimes dip into them for a bit of nostalgia. baw 4,360
I think nostalgia plays a big part in what we think was good and what's crap now. All the good comedies etc back then were fresh, new and exciting. Hard to come up with a comedy now that hasn't been done before. Plus it's a generation thing. My daughters into horrors, watched insidious etc with her. I saw on sky poltergeist was on so I recorded it, told her this film was the start of a lot of horrors today, the benchmark. We watched it and even I was like, f**k me this is pish I can imagine asking her to watch George and Mildred

NEWKID 28,617
Blackadder was brilliant IMO... But it wasn't just Rowan Atkinson who made it, Tony Robinson, Steven Fry, Hugh Laurier and rick mayall as flashart.... f***ing brilliant.. Obviously, only fools and horses, fawty towers, etc Used to like Game on which came a bit later... There aren't decent sit cons now... It's all reality tv

steve66 3,746
There's Agee that's being going for years and gave us great entertainment but been over shadowed by the big names such as Nic lyndhirst who played Rodney and starred in good night sweetheart
