who said shooting was unsafe? What i meant was safer to shoot at night as its a working farm...anything to minimise risk is a good thing

thank you richard for the invite we had 20 rabbits today and a few kill ins your plants should be a bit safer now will catch up soon to clear the surrounding areas when the farmer gives the all clear.

to risky round there fella ferreting the only way forward all so its on blemem estate .

Hello,

 

I have moved to the Oxfordshire area recently (we live in a village just outside Abingdon). I used to ferret when I was younger (had a few jills and a whippet), but I haven't been out for a while.

 

I am looking for someone to go along ferreting with occasionally. Due to work I can't guarantee to be available every week, but I can offer an extra pair of hands on a fairly regular basis for someone.

 

I know from experience that one needs to be cautious about trusting someone with your kit, permission and animals. If you do want someone to go out with then I am happy to meet for a drink and/or chat on the telephone before we go out. I am happy to travel to go ferreting.

 

I look forward to hearing from someone if they'd like to have a keen ferreting companion!
