The Red Cross To Feed Britons Poor

I'll be voting UKIP at every opportunity for two reasons; 1; Farage is the only politician who gives a straight answer, even if it's not what people want to hear, but I agree with the majority of his policies. 2; If UKIP have a very good showing in the General Election, maybe even getting a few seats, it may just scare the "Establishment", (Lib, Lab, Con), into finally listening to the people !!!!

Completely agree. The status quo cannot be allowed to continue. A protest vote isn't enough, there needs to be complete change.

Again. It's great what they're saying but it's not enough. We've been lied to. Over, and over, and over again.

Facta, Non Verba.

Immigration has a massive hand in this in the UK.

You see the homeless and food parcel lines here and the shocking thing is the lines are full, just full of old people and what's worse is I say to my friends not in England...........

 I despair for my country, time for a real British shake up before it's too late.

Apathy has played, and still plays the biggest part of all. Decades of lies have made people believe that change cannot happen.

When we point the finger, at any of the perceived causes of decline, we must first, and foremost, point the finger at Westminster.

They have failed us for years.

They have lied to us for years.

If UKIP will change this, then we need to give them a chance, but they'll be judged on their actions. The whole system is rotten to the core and it won't be fixed, overnight, whoever is elected!

another guy fawkes is needed

A few quick questions,

How come every second shop on any street in any town is a fast food shop?.

How come obesity is the next epidemic to hit Britain ?.

How many folk do you know with an allotment or vegetable garden?.

If our grandparents had what we have now, they would think they were royalty.

If our grandparents had what we have now, they would think they were royalty.

A - Because the business rates are cheapest on food outlets and staff can be hired cheaply (or free if you rope cousin Abdul in!)

B - Because our diet generally contains too much fat, sugar and salt, while exercise and activity levels are at their lowest ever. Obesity is not a result of wealth, but of poor nutrition.

C - Loads ! My 'garden' is small and all hard-standing, but I make a point of growing some food. It might only be a few spuds in 3 or 4 containers or a few tomato plants, but I make the effort. And I know lots that do - but I have still been known to eat cheap, crappy food on occasion.

Our grandparents might envy our lifestyle, if they saw it, but it has made us lazy, fat and apathetic - a combination that suits those who seek to keep us in our place !

(Has anyone else noticed that in times gone by, the rich were fat and the poor were thin. Now, the poor are fat and the rich are thin !) Just an observation ! :hmm:

A because no matter how much folk moan about being poor they can still eat out of carryout shops, if this wasn't the case they wouldn't exist (the shops) that is.

B Regardless of diet, obesity is caused by idle gits who can't be bothered getting off their arse.

C Only ones I know are old school who can get off their arse and actually work a garden.

If people actually looked after themselves and didn't expect others (government) to do it for them, then I'd wager there would be less folks using food banks.
