If the bitch is fit and healthy then seven is fine to breed from .............

i was gonna breed mine at the age of 6 1/2 the deed was done, but she had a fantom pregnancy, i was gutted, shes just over 7 now and id like to have a couple of her pups to bring on but i dont think shes as healthy as she was about this time last year, she keeps on eating grass, shes over weight, - iv cut her food down and given her more exercise but im gonna try worming her to see if that helps, if not it'll be a trip to the vets.

Just get it out and exercise and worm her terriers are very hardy dogs not saying there are no complications

There are complications in the birth of any off spring even more so in humans.

Bet of luck bud what ever you decide to do.

I know of a bitch that was the last of a line that a few close mates had kept between them for 20+ years, for one reason or another they never tried to line her till she was 9, first time she never took so tried her again next time in season and she had 2 pups and ate them both the first night of having them and that was that. End of a good blood line just like that.
