neems 2,406
Do labour and the conservatives seem to be sabotaging themselves? Millipedes come out as a Marxist who wants to turn Britain into some sort of miniture Soviet Union and the Tories are just putting out incredibly stupid and unpopular proposals that any sensible person can see are very flawed. Am I paranoid? If not,why would they do this?

neems 2,406
I don't believe they're as stupid as they're now making out. I haven't seen any 'vote winning' ideas/proposals/lies as of yet from either side.
stealthy1 3,964
All the parties are the same, think Sheriff of Nottingham (Labour, Cons, Lib, UKIP) then vote for Robin Hood (?)
dare 1,103
I know many say ukip and from all I've heard and read they get my vote. Thing is I can't remember hearing the name from years back? Could google and they probably have been about. Just wondering if the others seem so out of touch with more aless everyone I meet how the hell did they get into the position they are in?

I haven't seen any 'vote winning' ideas/proposals/lies as of yet from either side. Tories/ cut immigration/work for benefits/freeze fuel duty = Vote winners they think Labour/ abolish bedroom tax = potential vote winner whoever gets in will then decide that these are things best implemented in the next term 4 years after. Whatever they say is all lies and a smoke screen to push through amendments that'll only benefit multi million £ corporations and the uber rich. Anyone thinks any different then they are deluded.

Tiercel 6,986
There is not one politician in Westminster today that is there to serve the populace. The only reason they are there is to line their own pockets. TC Edited October 1, 2013 by tiercel

Or turning Britain into a Bolshevik state? I just don't see who they're appealing to,the far left already support labour and big business already supports the conservatives. They could just waffle on about lowering taxes, stopping cuts, the smoking ban etc etc and they'd appeal to more people.

Malt 379
We're being played by all sides.. Labour for instance.. Why did they pick Ed Milliband over his brother? Could you imagine having that nasal, simpering c**t as prime minister? He ain't PM materiel, people won't vote for him.. It's like they picked the least likely to succeed person they could find to stand as party leader.. A big part of the problem is they're all career politicians these days.. That makes them even more slippery because they are machinating for their livelihoods, not just their political careers. IMO politics should be something you go into after a normal working life and you have lived in and through the conditions your decisions will put the people you are elected to represent. There should be a minimum age for people in politics, something like 60 or so.. It should never have been allowed to become a career choice, then you'd see who was there for the good of the country and not just for the opportunity to line your pockets..
