Unfortunately another advertisement for dogs hijacked by opinion on the cost. If you want one you'll pay for it. If you trawl through the other adverts for Lurchers and terriers being sold for £100 to £150 these same dogs will be changing owners several times. I don't see too many Cockers being effectively binned to try something else. If your paying a bit more, your far less likely to give up on the dog and move on to something else. Good luck with the sale.

Top coursing pups change hands for £1k a pup, these are top bred cocker pups so if that's the price then that's down to the man, he'll get that for them, just the same as top coursers will get they're money........what's the problem, if you don't want to pay that......don't.

Not really, I own Lurchers and didn't pay anything for them, gifted by friends who run dogs. It's just my observation. They seem to change hands with such regularity. The dog rescue centres and dogs homes are full of Lurchers, and I realise that by posting and responding I am guilty of hijacking the advertisement.

I don't think theres any negativity towards the pups mate, in my opinion its just the price but its been said there your pups so you put the price on them. atb

hee heee, jesus, if as much effort went into working and training half of the mongrels out there the world of dogs would be a much better place and the people who have them better thought of, give the guy a break if you don't want one fine, theres been thousands of pounds cross palms for mongrels [lurchers] hasn't there, you don't see many 650 pound pups getting handed around like most other 10 bob pups. good luck with them mate.

And stranger just to put the record straight not anybody can scrape together a good stud fee, theres some good lads out there who would love to put there bitch to a good stud but don't have the funds so do the best they can. And for the shooting scene being a joke it invests millions into our beloved sport every year in one way or another, lets remember united we stand divided we fall. And yes i do both so not biased.
