Didn't s'e of Wakefield once owned Chester before selling him to Lm?

SE owned chester before LM sent someone to buy the dog.So im told

The fella who owned Chester before LM told me the dog was out of a sealy/russell.A mate of mine is good mates with the man who owned chester first and he told me the same. And like someone has already said the dog was well known for throwing white pups.

Take what SE says with a pinch of salt !

The man could not lie straight in bed !

If that's the case he'll never be without company in the terrier world

;) .

How come such a dog passed hands? A decent dog wouldn't leave our company. Or was it between digging buddies? How would one of my dogs become famous? Ha messin. I remember a dog called duke Wigan area, I was offered a bitch out of it but was sceptical as breeding was iffy, I was offered a day out with the dog. It was 10 years old, it worked 3 places from light till dark , some stamina, and loved it. Anyone know its breeding? The bitch I had of it was a Jekyll and Hyde . But that duke was a belter, that day. Did Chester produce workers of what ratio, I think if 1 in six graft good these days that's a result, although its getting better!
