lurchergrrl 1,441
... when my kids go back to school in September and get asked 'what did you do on your holidays?' Yesterday we did this: The kids actually argued over who got to carry the bucket of dead rats We mostly just went for a wander on the permission tho, which makes for a much better day than hanging around on the street or in the park across the road

I don't know much about patt's and terriers in general ... my only experience with terriers is my little ginger ninja, made up of unknown gypsy breeding. He's brilliant at marking and retrieving Skittles The patt belongs to my other half, who thinks the sun shines out of her. She's right enough but I prefer to be the only bossy bitch in the pack The One ... I only sent it to them this morning so waiting to see if they say anything about it. Maybe they'll pay me for an advertising campaign

Astral 253
The last rat pic made me giggle! and the skittles aw. Best thing for kids being outside and even anti's hate rats (hypocrites!) so would be shocked if the teacher could find issue. Made me remember when I was a young kid and dad would take me and my brother out with the dog, brother would whine about being cold and I'd run round ruining everything trying to catch a rabbit with my bare hands. Dad must of had the patience of a saint!
lurchergrrl 1,441
Most on here know I'm tight about letting the kids sit in playing video games or staring at the tv ... the kids call me for it now but they'll thank me later I reckon. Most days the tv isn't on at all - that's saying something during the summer holidays. Himself has been teaching them to swim in rivers, we've been on a holiday in the Lakes (no tv whatsoever), bike rides on the canal, killing rats, walking for miles, hiding in hedgerows watching deer in the evening sun ... cheap and cheerful good times; what more can a kid want Life is fair good at the moment
