Ex Army Bedford Camper Van

Recommended Posts

Mj's or MK's,the mj is the civilian version of the MK will do around 20 to the gallon and classic insurance is ok if they accept it as a hobby van and not a camper van.I lived a hippy traveller life for 15 years and knew many folks who had these lorries and they sure ain't worth ten grand and your'll find them for a lot less than that and i know it looks groovy having a feck off big 4x4 but your'll never use the truck to it's full capacity so better off just getting a normal horse box truck and converting that as your'll have loads more space than a old radio box.Parts aren't that hard to come by for the old Bedfords still but these trucks do keep on plodding on but with all old Bedfords don't expect to be going fast up hills ever

10.000 euro,,,,,,it's a fecking shed.... You must be mad wanting to part with that kind of cash for that

follow your dreams, but don't get ripped off. that left hand drive bedford is way over priced, i've seen them for sale direct from uk mod for £3-4000. tiny miles. £6000 would do a lot of fancy camper

Exactly,,, big feck of van,,, sprinter,,Renault ect ect,,, 3-4 grand. then rip the guts out of a 500 quid caravan of eBay   Or just keep the 500 quid caravan,,lol,,and fit a towbar,,,

Was back packing round the greek isles one of them on the beach a german couple covenverted it. Had done a real good job said he had been round the med and was heading to africa allways wondered what ever happend to them , the had painted it white though.

Its not something you see every day, really well looked after. Go for it CG. Life if far to short not to go for what you want.

Imagine the adventures you could have in that thing, its amazing. If I had the space and the cash I wouldn't think twice.

Dont go to the following countrys in it lol

Ireland

Afaganistan

Iraq

Argentina

Somalia

Sierra leone

Or paint it white with a big red cross or yellow smily on the side. Lol

Darling im in ireland... No one will mistake it for anything other than a vintage army vehicle... I wear dutch army gear most of the time, no one batts an eyelid... I would bring that to belaghy and park it up outside my inlaws and no harm will come to it

STAY WELL AWAY!

these things are a hump of shite....

The army mechanics are writing these off left right and centre....

They have a £1000 budget for every vehicle they get in......if its over 1000 to fix they write it off......

We had a load of these.....theres 3 left.....
