Books, Reading And Different Tastes

Recommended Posts

I read ALOT lol. Mainly fantasy and that, finished(upto last book released) Songs of ice and fire and left waiting on a cliffhanger for awhile really bugs me!! lol.

Also liked alot of gemmel and eddings books(if your trying to get into fantasy there two of the easiest reads ever in fantasy).

Gotta love Pratchett , discworld. bartimaeus by Jonathan stroud had me in stitches.

Then on the pther scale i like reading the old gamekeepers tales and any poachers tales entertain me and give good wisdom on subjects. Just finished A poachers tale alfred curtis was a enjoyable read entertaining.

Redpat read all those books, would rather stand in the ring with b g than be an Armstrong critic mid titles era lol ......

Born hunter lol falconer was also a womando for a short period of time but his book is cracking, fully recommended as he delves very much into the nitty gritty tasks which most I fought saddam single handed tomes don't , he also lifts the lid on the blade mentality, a great book

A great read which may appeal to a few on here is green eyed boys......

Just finished Black Water and loved it. Falconer's First into Action arrived today...

That Green Eyed Boys looks an eye opener but mixed reports on how truthfull it is?

I'm after a decent Cold war Submariner book next....

Born h, I don't think it's green eyed boys that's doubtful, it's worth it just to see what those boys actually did on their own two feet, at the time, that battalion were probably the greatest soldiers in the world, no ifs no buts, only the British airborne were capable of doing that
