You're suggesting they can't walk their dogs on leads in public without risk of being bombarded by out of control lurchers?  And they should deal with it or go elsewhere?   FFS. Recall training or

thanks Bill, yeh you lads are right , he just to big now ,and i suppose he could chage temp as he matures, and yeh not worth the risk with his size+ power. the fecklin wife was right, but i wont tel

you know your dogs are sound but to a stranger that dont know them they could be man eating dog killers, your lucky they never gave your pup a swift kick.

Happened with me last night just walking through a field and these two Farley big built mongrels went for my pup and not for the first time and usually none of my dogs retaliate but my black dog wouldn't take no shit this time and got stuck straight into them, but that's what people get when they can't control there dogs and they just run up and start fighting

went out on my 1st walk of the day, then my 2nd walk norm about 8 30-9pm .Went this morning about 10am , went down lane not far from me , both dogs Bryn+ Buck. Stopped 1/2 way down lane, come to gate of field just stood eating a apple + chilling out there. .Both dogs had gone into field grass was about 2ft high, then seen to young teen girls about 12-15 years old. Buck saw them 1st, and just looked, Bryn same but did move towards them.Well both my dogs are sound with people, and Bryn ok with other males as long as they dont for him,Buck just soft loves to play with any dog. Well these girls had small kind of (designer type dogs) like curly spaniel thing.Well i didnt see it because of the long grass ,Buck goes over sees it, and he wanted to try to play with it, Bryn wasnr botherd. As soon Buck go to them, the blood girl picks the dog up to her head, yeh you guess it Buck was jumping up to the girls head. I shouted to her put it on the floor, he want hurt he is a 10 month old pup.Well iknow Buck is very big for a pup, and i can under stand why they were scared. But i wouldnt loose him off he was dangerous to people+ dogs, he just a pup.Well i got to him got him on the lead, and said if kept your dog on the floor, mine wouldnt keep jumping at you. Me and the wife had bust up about when igot back and told her.Ok i will have to keep him on the lead when isee people+ dogs, he is to big .But i still think if they had kept that blood thing on the floor, it would gone alot eaiser than it did.??

Some times you can be caught out by bumping into dog walkers unexpectedly, they some times appear from out of no where, I'm sure you would have put your youngster onto its lead if you'd seen this dog.

One of my 3 pups would have done the same, she's as deaf as f..k when she's off the lead.

Thing that annoys me the most is when your training ur dog not to jump up, and someone starts to fuss over the dog and lets it jump up. Really pisses me off.

Spot on, and it f..ks me off when you shout "get down" and they say "its all right" no it f..king is ant.

some peoples fear of dogs are very over the top,you should alway have a dog on a lead.you was in the wrong.

I have to agree with you brigg bird needs to train his dogs better or keep them under more control

The woman next door to me has a Alsatian (or Shepherd as its fashionable to call them longer haired ones today!). Stunning lookin thing, bout twelve months old or so, problem is, like Rays he's a big daft pup BUT she has a habit of letting it follow her out the door when she's in the front garden and when going on a walk etc. Now we live in a tiny hamlet so the chances of it seeing some one are slimmer than most. When it does see someone else it goes nuts and rushes up barking that deep low Ali bark, the type that shits you right up, especially when you don't know it coming, then darts away staying, playing as a pup would out of harms way!

Now I've told her, the other neighbors have told her but TO HER its a big daft pup, well she came unstuck the other day when it done it to the binman, same to his workmate the week before, boy oh boy did he give it to her, all verbal but this bloke spat it with venom...She shit and all the apologies didn't work with this one.

Now for me, I know what its like on the receiving end and though I've told her and told her I still don't think she gets it BUT I have a 3 year old here who thinks every dog is a nice doggy and if she slips up and it does the same to my little girl an scares the bejesus out of her or worse, I will not be responsible for my actions.... I keep mine under control at all times in public places, which I consider to be the ten yards out of my village!

;)

Paul that a lie ive seen you running about letting your dogs off and encouraging them to chase the local kids on the estate

messin, and your on about that BIG wolfy thing called paddy?

does winter dog walkers no bother any of yous ?

norm mate, dont see that many, as once the clock's go back its dark at 4pm. And most pet dog people dont like to walk the mutts in the dark. Itake mine norm where there stock and places like that, as mine are great round sheep, cattle etc and norm dont see many people at all ..... Its just Buck the pup just wanted to play with the other dog, and he is only 10 month old and thats all he is a pup. But as been said he just to big+ powerful to play about with any person+ dog, its a shame really, as he is soft as shit , he just dont how big he is .lol
