Used to go to the auctions brown goods as there called never sold well unless there's a age to them . and the drink cabinet or dust collectors as they where called only good if a interior designer fancied them

The drinks cabinet/sideboard id chuck, the Art Deco style display unit,as long as there is no peeling and missing laminate will make £120-£180 in a Southern saleroom,£50-£70 in the north, get it on Ebay it will make its brass.

@stig if you were to advise someone on 1 line of collectables to study / revise on what would you suggest :hmm:

glass all early glass right the way trough to modern studio glass --- fair bit of money to be made at it trouble is with a lot of glass its not marked so its hard to know what it is and its value bought some nice big bright studio vase off the boots for a few pounds and sold em on for 20-30 quid --- a couple stand a few pitchs away from me at one off the fairs and they don't stop all day from 7 in the morning till it gets to dark to trade for the 2 days ..

Modern art, some of the students leaving college sell stuff for beer tokens,as soon as they are recognised the price goes mental, look at the smack ed Tracey E.she sold stuff for smack thats now worth tens of thousands.!960,s and seventies designer retro, very few had names on and are much sought after, one looks very much like a later copy, with a bit of homework and education theres brass to be found there.
