shame to see local milkman gone, used to love the cream on the top of the bottle !!!!!

I have had the milkman for donkeys yrs , he drops off bread milk anything you want pretty much , leaves a little booklet , so anything I want off him extra to the milk I just add it to the order

 

it is more expencive than the supermarket but it saves me carting it home in a carrier .. he delivers at some odd times mind you, I have got my milk in on a monday morning by 3am usually as I am still up

My brother had his foot ran over by the milk float when we were kids helping the milkman, I think he used to give us 1 pound for running up and down the paths delivering as he drove along lol, my brother was ok but had the imprint on the top of his foot for a bit and hobbled for a day or 2.... I'm sure he was wearing football boots as well (studs) don't know why he was crap at football ... God we were stigs.... Lol

 

Would love to have milk delivered now not sure it happens anymore here I'll investigate lol
