Milk To Your Door??

Recommended Posts

just had a guy from the local dairy round....explaining that they wanted to compete with the supermarkets and was going to deliver milk to our door...twice weekly around 6am....

i...along with a lot of others...snapped this up.

now, its 10p or so more expensive than the supermarket.... but id rather support the smaller businesses....local guys....

havent seen or heard of this for a while....

but i remember when i was younger....you could steal some milk from the posher houses for your mam....earned me a few quid extra pocket money....

i hope the little shites round here dont get any wise ideas....

ill be hanging out the bedroom window with the catty

They will give you a safe you stick it on your wall at the front door they open it leave the milk in it and its safe till you get it , With your neighbors you would think its going to be safe anyway

Everybody still gets their milk delivered here.. I did in my old place too, but the milkman only used to collect once in a blue moon and you ended up having to find about £70 when he used to come knocking! :icon_eek: At least the one here comes regular as clockwork on a Friday night..
