hello there passed my driving test end of last month il be 25 in june so going to wait till then to get a policy any one got any tips on how i can get it cheap i been looking at around 4k will be having focus 1.6 cannot have a small car as i have 2 kids and one on way thanks

i did a search on go compare earlier -- over quotes came up takes 5 mins to do on line --

try adrian flux, can get discount if your member of a owners club. say you only do about 5000 miles a year.

 

some owners clubs even have discount insurance arranged for members, plus you get disocount on parts etc and tech help

 

another option would be to get someome with more driving experience to be policy holder and add you as a named driver, some companys even give the named driver a year no claims when policy is finished.

 

pitty you didnt own the car longer, always see a big difference in the price on go compare when you say have owned car longer

 

if you try go compare try full comp and third party fire and theft

do an individual search don t go through search engine compilations and prune everything back to keep your premiums down i.e pay more on your excess etc.. good luck also consider a tagging option where they can track your time and mileage.

add someone thats a good driving record as an additional named driver. brings your premium down. im named on my kid insurance and it no were near 4 k

don't get quotes online anyway i got few quotes online cheap car insurance confused.com all the usual site was getting quoted 3 grand upwards under the womens name rung local insurance groups was getting quotes for around 800 some difference between 3000 and 800??? rip of them sites are if you ask me mate

watch them cheap insurance co,i understand that cost are an issue,but your kids are in the car,ive had f...g nightmares with cheapo ins co,they will not be on your side in a accident,and will try everything to get out of paying out...my own insurance co even sat outside my house watching ,for 24hrs,and even was going to sue me for 40,000 .....beware

put your exess up, say your keeping your car on a drive way when parked up and over night, get another driving whom has had a driving license for years,have an alarm on your car, theres a few things that you can do to get it down, i had a 2months ban in 2009 and 6 points for no license and no insurance, so have to wait untill next september 2014 untill my insurance goes bk to normal, its sky high at the mo,
