Camping Advice

Recommended Posts

Depends if your hiking and camping or going in the car, if hiking a foam roll up and sleeping bag is ideal because it's lightweight if you are driving the car to the site where your pitching your tent I'd use an inflatable mattress or fold up bed. Don't know if you have a Go Outdoors shop near you but they have some really good deals and a variety of beds etc.

as has been said if weight is not an issue, fold up bed all everytime.

the amount of money i've spent over the years replacing air beds that have pooped is unreal.

if hiking a roll mat or self inflating mattress.

Don't matter what you sleep on mate, nothing comes close to your own bed. Just remember whatever you get, you need to store it when not in use for long periods. I prefer air beds but I go camping in a canoe lol.

A blow up roll mat...ebay, military ones are good

A decent sleeping bag

And a little camping pillow makes all the difference!

Oh, helps if youve got a whippet to share the doss bag with
