paulus 26
And ive changed my mind about nukes aswell, and thats something i thought i wouldnt do.borrowing billions to keep trident while the citizens are on thier arses. protect us lmao the only protection we need is for the ones that govern us. lets face it we could deliver a nuke by cruise.let the yanks and russia and china have them.cause if it did go nuclear ,lets face it our role be a mere piss in the ocean. our biggest enermy is already living amonst us, it wont come from any forign invader mate. the situation in cyprus might be worth watching as a clue to the future of europe and the european union. These plebs in power have got to get a grip of how the countries begining to feel before they reach a point of no return. you can only kick a sleeping dog so many times before it wakes up and rags fook out of your foot. PeakOil 352
So what was the housing problem that you are having?
DIDO.1 22,865
Needed some advice the other day, it was something and nothing, just about landlord responsibilites. So I called into the citizens advice office in town, I thought thats what the place was for. What a bloody eye opener, it was stuffed with scroats from the world over, yellows, africans, ninjas. So anyway I takes a number and sits down near the desk at the front to wait, over the next hour I listened to one after another of the worlds filth came up to ask advice. The woman at the desk asked a brief description of their problem and it was benifits, asylum appeals etc. Most couldnt even speak english and had to wait while an interpretor was called for. The woman at the desk had to help them fill in their forms and when asked about kids most had between 2-8. I know we have a duty of care and to help those in need but how the hell have africans with 8 kids even got into the country, and best of all we pay solicitors to advise them on their rights to stay here! When the courts try to deport them we pay for them to fight the decision!! Madness Anyway we eventually get in to see someone who spends 10 mins asking about our income and savings, hell the advice we needed was only a few sentances and a couple of yes and no's!! After 10 mins we were told that we could not be given any FREE ADVICE as we both work full time and have money , we were then pointed next door to a solicitors that advised on housing law. On visiting there we were told that to even listen to our questions would cost £100 plus vat! fuming isnt the word, called into the market on the way home to get the lad some new shoes, bit different from all the nike air trainers the africans and single mothers kids were wearing at the citizens advice. Countries fecked are you a landlord ? Yes we are landlords but we also live in a rented house. We have had none stop problems with the letting agency. From asking us to pay towards a new cooker when the old one was condemed as un safe (we have since met the landlord and he wasnt told the cooker was condemed just that we had demanded a new one, so he only agrred to pay half, he must of thought we were right demanding sods) to not responding to calls about the property condition (its falling down) again it was all news to the landlord who is also fuming. We have since found out they havnt registered our bond within 30 days as the law says, in fact it was only registered and protected after 5 months on the day we began asking questions. We have since found out that if it isnt registered within 30 days you can claim 3 times the amount back. We dont want to cause trouble for the landlord as he is a decent guy. We just wanted a few bits of advice about how to launch a claim in the county court against the shite agents who have cause nothing but stress for my pregnant Mrs right through winter. We hoped we could do it ourselves without paying another lot of leeches trying to skim hundreds of pounds off working people. But it seems if you work you pay, big time! DIDO.1 22,865
good luck to you and hope your wifes keeping well theres more to being a landlord than you think Yeah we have found that out the hard way! got a right scroat in our house at the moment, the mrs let her move in cos she felt sorry for her, young girl on her own with a kid, the mrs saw a bit of her self in her as she was in same position herself at one point. I hate letting agents but but we have just let one take over our house to get her under some sort of control!
