pie-eater 377
I prefer spun poly. Easy to handle comes in bright colours and it doesnt rot like hemp. 1 Quote Link to post

AndyKelly 251
all ill say is the net needs to have plenty of bag in it - some ppl make them 13 wide and i cant see that adequately holding a large buck for long. dispatching the rabbit in the net with the correct sized net is essential for me as i dont want to spend hours untangling rabbits and wasting valuable ferreting time. i have used lots of products to make nets over the years and have to say that the spun poly is by far the best thing i have used by a long shot Quote Link to post

I make my 4ft nets shaped out to 20 meshes. Quote Link to post
Mochastorm 68
Spun poly in a bright colour, easy for us old men to see in hedge bottoms. Plenty of bag to purse up, and good quality rings that don't split on the weld. I've used hemp, linen, nylon (in differing weights) and also runners instead of rings, but over the years you work out what's best for you. It's important you use the net that suits your style and the ground you hunt. 1 Quote Link to post
