No pics but made my first load of chutney today. Courgette, tomato, onion, green bean, sweet pepper, cooking apple bit of chilli salt and pepper. Smells superb. Will know in the morning. Jok.

Looking at Blacknecks post, I’ve grown a variety called Kestrel. They are a superb potato imo. Jok.

Kestrel lager was alright when we were  about 14 … don’t think it’s about anymore though .

I did them last year mate or the year before …. They are bloody lovely . I may revert back to cherry toms again as main crop , these money maker are a bit acidic for my gut hernia .and take ages and are bloody big .
live been composting cucumbers because I don’t feel comfortable asking my lady neighbours if they could use a couple of cucumbers whilst holding them out … going to change type and cut back on plants .

First ever potatoes grown … one container 2 plants in it .
just over a kilo .
gonna boil up the baby/baby ones , that’s what you get in the tins ….
picked some more tomatoes yesterday to relive weight from the plants  and left them to ripen off on the cill .
