Thanks, however it isnt a robin...It was taken in on the 15th july 2012.

Altho looking it does like a robin but we were in redpoll land but didnt want to put it down as one till i was definate, however i dont think i ever will be..

its defo mot a hardbill its got a softbill by the looks of it and a red breast what makes you think its not a robin pal it looks likem one to me it defo not a hardbill

 

sorry that sounded a bit arsey just wondered why you thought it wasnt a robin so we could find out cheers

its difficult to tell mate off that pic wether it is soft or hard, i know it looks thin. I watched it through the binos at about 30yrds and it didnt act like a robin, however like i said above, i maybe wrong.. We cant put a definate tho so it will go into the delete bin.. with no name.unless you are 100% sure bud?

100% it is a juvenile robin moulting out into its first adult plumage.

That's deffinitely a robin..here's a young redpoll look at the difference in the beak's..
