Myself and my lad Frankel had a walk out this morning with "some" of the gang ..we took Don,Swift the two elder lurchers,Frankel's two Patterdale's Tank & Pip and i fought on with the two coursin

That's a lovely bit of ground for a mooch about.   Can't beat daytime hunts with a few dogs imo. Lamping is convienient (for a working man) and great for putting lots of tackle in front of a dog but

Good day there lads,, I'm still house bound with this b*****d flu,, and chest infection,, poor old Venus is getting as fat as me,,lol.   Tell you what ain't swift a b*****d,, with that smiling grey

Top pics as always Andy, cracking shot of the Don dog in the first pic. Sounded like a good few hours, love the look of the pups coming along nice. :victory:

Cheers Johnny..still my number one dog mate the Don dog..just always seems to be in the right place lol..ferreting,lamping,working with terriers, hunting up hedgerows, sieve beds or woodland he just does it all just grand :D ..oh but he wont catch a Fen hare haha

Very versatile the collie curs :D .........bringing Bron along the same way, you can't beat a good companion dog imo, this little bitch will work with the ferts, mooch and hunt real well and can put a good shift in on the light too. The collie side of your dogs as always interested me and I'm really enjoying this little bitch, keep her sire healthy as I think you've found something a little bit special there. :victory:

Vin he "thinks" he is mate but if I was a few years younger lol...Johnny I know Don is an ugly b*****d but he works ok and the few pups on the ground out of him seem to be doing ok to? Our Deans dog Reggie is turning out to be a decent mutt, hunts like a terrier in ANY cover, retrieves grand, very obedient and will take ANY game no matter how tough..I always thought and still am of the opinion that whatever Don achieves in the field he will throw a better pup than himself...just hope I end up with it haha..if not hope yours is THE one..ATB Andy
