i am thinking of getting a whippetxbeddy but have heard stories of this breed even with 100% recall

disapering for up to 4 hours a time just wondering do whippets do the same or are they better (less headstrong)

cheers relic2

get a beddy x grey , better type dog eiser temp to get on with, and not to big for rabbits (22-24in) i am not fan of beddyxs, but if i was having 1 would go for the beddyx grey .!

four hours  the dog would be staying there they are head strong but as said they are sorted by 18 months for what your after doing a 3/4 whippet cross or a whippet will suit you down to the ground and as with any dog time spent out will help with recall you need to get that bond with the dog then you have no worrys about it not coming back atb

I've got a 1/2 whippet 1/4 beddy with a dash of collie and grey, 19.5tts. And she was a pain in the arse when young, but as she got older,-towards 18months, she became much better in the head strong department. Walking to heel and a great companion when out shooting, retrieving feather as well as fur..

Mine was headstrong when a pup but at 10 months old she's ok now, you just can't be too heavy handed with her otherwise she has a strop on for hours after lol her recall is 90% there but has her moments still if she went wondering for 4 hours I'd leave her as well lol! Btw she's a 1st x beddi whip D191D4F1-BEF1-4336-8BD9-271B517DB743-285-000000308B6DDEEC.jpgF82E2081-6CF4-4F4E-9BD9-0AD4B2928244-285-00000030936485E0.jpg
