i know utd are winning but if they dont start playing better and defending better they will be out of all competitions soon.if they let goals leak against city on the weekend they wont pull them back like they have been doing lately.

A wouldnt say utd have a good team these days compared to previous seasons , but they have a knack of winning even when there not at there best . Reckon the hammers might give them a good game at upton park though .

I was already rehearsing what I was going to type on here Wilf, something along the lines of 'gutted but deserved!' The last three goals in the match were crackers, and if Cole can keep supplying those type of balls, you guys are going to score a lot of goals with either Carroll or Chamakh up front on a regular basis. Thought West Ham had the gameplan spot on and couldn't have had a single complaint about loosing if they'd had held on. United didn't create that many chances and It wasn't because we played shite, it was because West Ham prevented us from doing so. Thought it was a good game with West Ham deserving to win it on the whole, but the quality of the pass from Giggs and the finish from RVP made a replay a fair result IMO..

You can see Cole is rusty as f**k but the lads technique is second to none in that team and when he has a few games under his belt I think you will see him come into his own.

 

I was a bit shocked that the right and left backs went on the missing a couple of times, got to be better than that against teams like yours........I was also getting a bit pissed off that Diarra and Vas Te kept lashing the f*****g ball all the time but on the whole it was as gutsy a performance as I would expect to see against your team in our home ground.

Allardyce was very coy about Beckham in his interview, the way cole was whipping the ball in today and the way Beckham can it would be some ammo for the big forwards at West Ham....

 

Today we were lucky to have a get out of jail free card sat on the bench, the ball from Giggs , control and finish from RVP was top class, I knew he was good but he's proving this season he's something special..... Great performance from West Ham though, to be fair to big Sam he's getting the best out if the players he's got, with the likes of Cole arriving there's a bit of quality too, could be some good times ahead for you hammers lads....
