got onto this topic the other night in the pup and had a good laugh. a old mate of mine had a half bull x and it certainly looked the part  he had it from a gamefair as a pup and bought it along one night on the lamp. we entered a field and there was a rabbit smack bang in the middle, his dog was about 14 months at the time so i let his dog have the slip. it runned the beam no problems turned the rabbit and come running straight toward us, his dog made the strike no less than 2 foot away from us and the rabbit squealed and the dog let go of it took a few steps back and started to bark at it  the dog just looked at us as if to say what the feck was that  the rabbit then tried to make off again but his bull x didnt want to no just stood there thinking feck that. needless to say some banter took place for the rest of the night and the dog never made the grade and wouldnt touch a bunny after that  so come on lads spill some of these stories

I had a beddie whippet X collie grey chasing a hare year's ago and the hare went under a parked up car with the driver sat inside..quickly followed by the dog that ploughed straight into the side of the car and denting the door.. :icon_eek: ..the driver got out of the car to look at the door then he looked at me legging it with a limping dog following me..i must of looked a right twat at the time for not going and paying for the damage.. :whistling: .

I also went out flying the hawk a few time's with a fellow who lived local to me..i did not know him that well but he invited me out a few time's and one time i took the terrier to try and dig something..

What a fecking nightmare the day turned out to be..first the terrier squeazed through a gap in the back of the van and got in the front and ate all the fellow's sarnies and bait..then he chewed the corner of his neatly made hawk carrying box..then the little twat jumped a dry stone wall and landed on a sleeping sheep on the otherside..the sheep took of across the field right past the farm house with my terrier stuck to the side of it like a tick,, :icon_redface: ..needless to say the terrier was barred from anymore trip's out with him.. :D

Edited to add some thing i forgot on that fatefull day..i did manage to get the terrier on something to ground which he jacked on and come out with a rabbit in his mouth.. :icon_redface:

Remember getting a whippet when I was a young lad, bragging to all my mates how good it was. Stole a mates pet white rabbit, took it to the school field, dropped it, walked back and put the lamp on it, sent the dog, the dog ran up to it, the rabbit didnt move, the dog stopped and smelt the rabbit and tried to sh*g it.

Another time, been to scotland for a weekend hunting with cleanspade, cleanspade gave me a little russle to try, called Aron, took it out, entered it to a fox, the dog mixed a bit with the fox, the fox bolted, no sign of Aron. I looked down the tube and there he was, curled up asleep.

Well weren't you a f*****g wanker when you were a lad!!!
